Dane out of Snappers contest?

 Dane Reynolds has just undergone knee surgery that will have him out of the water for 6 weeks. Reynolds tore a few ligaments in his knee before the pipe masters but still managed to pull a third place finish in the event. The injury however has become too much and he opted for surgery. He most likely will not recover before the snappers contest and will have an auspicious start to a seemingly promising year.
